Once you’ve identified the type of remote you possess, simply refer to the steps provided below to successfully program your remote.

How to Pair Remote to Motor (Built-in Receiver)

To pair the remote with the motor, begin by unplugging your motor. Then, select your preferred channel on the remote. Hold the UP button on the remote. While holding the UP button, plug the motor back in. The motor will start to beep, press the UP button once more. The motor will beep 3 times confirming that the remote has been successfully paired.

Switching Between Manual Mode and Continuous Mode

What is Continuous Mode and Manual Mode? Manual Mode is when the motor runs while holding either the UP or DOWN button but stops when the button is released. Continuous Mode is the normal setting where the motor runs until it reaches its limit or STOP is pressed. To switch to Manual Mode select the correct channel for the motor. Press and hold the STOP button until the motor starts beeping. Press the STOP button again, you are now in Manual Mode. Repeat these steps to switch back to Continuous Mode.

Changing Motor Direction

In the event that your motor is turning the wrong direction, switch the direction with these next steps. Press and hold the STOP button until the motor beeps. While the motor is still beeping release the STOP button and press the DOWN button, the motor will beep 3 times to confirm that the direction has been changed.

Deleting All Programming

To delete all programming from the motor, start by going to the desired channel. Hold the STOP button until the motor starts beeping. While the motor is beeping, press the reset button on the back of the remote with a paperclip until the motor beeps 3 times. All programming has been deleted from the motor.

Adding Another Remote

To add an additional remote, hold the STOP button on the remote that is already paired to the motor until the motor starts beeping. Using the new remote, select the appropriate channel and hold the UP button while the motor is still beeping. The motor will beep 3 times confirming that the new remote has been added.

Adding Up and Down Limits (Smart Motor)

To set your upper and lower limits, start by checking if you have a smart motor. If not, get in touch with your dealer or sales representative. They can guide you through manually setting the limits. If your motor is smart, that’s great! You can do the limit setup right from your remote control.

Begin with the upper limit. Adjust the screen to where you want it and press the button on the back of the remote with a paperclip. The motor will jog. Press the button again with the paperclip, and the motor will jog again. This means the upper limit is now set for the motor.

Now, for the lower limit, bring the motor down to your desired point. Press the button on the back of the remote with a paperclip, and the motor will jog. Press the button once more, and again, the motor will jog to confirm that the lower limit is set
